About the event
The hardest battles our military veterans face are rarely fought on foreign soil—they are fought on the silent, internal frontlines of civilian reintegration. Transitioning from a highly structured, mission-first environment to civilian life often leaves service members dealing with a sudden loss of purpose, profound isolation, and transitional anxiety. In the military, we are trained in a "warrior culture" to stand tall, absorb stress, and never show vulnerability. Because of this, asking for help can feel like the hardest mission a veteran will ever face, leaving too many to fight their struggles in silence.
To bridge this critical gap, the Kern County Veterans Chamber of Commerce (KCVCC) has partnered with NAMI Kern County’s FaithNet program to launch Frontline Fellowship. This non-denominational, faith-anchored program is designed to honor our military culture while actively redirecting that tactical discipline toward spiritual growth, mutual aid, and community leadership. Lived experience and research prove that peer-to-peer, faith-based support…
