Greetings and welcome to the program website for the Veteran Ventures Program, presented by The Kern County Veterans' Chamber of Commerce. You are on your way to joining an esteemed group of members to participate in this program. We are delighted to partner with you in this momentous personal and professional growth journey.
This program is hybrid with both in-person sessions and live-online sessions. You will also have high-touch virtual coaching sessions with The KCVCC President & CEO.
You will start your learning journey here, with some online pre-work and completion of two professional assessments to provide insight into what drives you as a professional and as a leader within your organization as an Entrepreneur.

Ensure that your operational processes support your business and corporate strategy

Understand some of the theories around developmental strategic models, case analysis as a teaching methodology, and general business models

Understand how to think about corporate strategy as a key component for managing a business

Learn how industry structure affects the company’s ability to create, capture, and deliver value

Find out how to properly align internal resources to best harness and attack strategic business opportunities

Apply many of the theories learned in class to analyze past and current corporate initiatives, with several cases and real-world examples

Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy built on a sound analysis of customers, competitors, alliance partners, and company competencies

Assess strategies for acquiring customers and retaining existing ones through the delivery of powerful value propositions focused on true customer needs
